The 4th edition of World Metrology Day – WMD 2023 – will actively involve the Ambassadors, prominent personalities from a variety of business backgrounds who will target the use of new technologies applied to the resolution of specific case studies. In addition, they will also focus both on enhancing the company’s brand awareness and on channelling the business relationships developed during the two days.

Michele Frisoli | CEO di  Manta Group.

After obtaining a classical education, he moved to Milan, where he graduated cum laude in International Management at Bocconi University. From 2007 to 2014 he started working as a consultant at McKinsey & Company, where he specialised in Strategy and Operations for Advanced Industries & Energy, and served the largest of European players in the relevant sectors. In 2014 he joined the family business, an Italian company focused on civil constructions and industrial maintenance. Becoming CEO in 2015, Mr Frisoli implemented a series of strategic projects: first, he launched a restructuring plan and then, he started a development program under the sign of innovation.

Today, MANTA Group has 3 operating companies specialised in the production of aeronautical and automotive components, in particular by manufacturing parts in composite materials, mechanics, complex assemblies, automated painting.

Companies are operating in Foggia and Brindisi and serve the main aeronautical and automotive OEMs.

Experienced Global Management Professional on Quality Assurance topics with over 20 years of continued career progression in high competitive and International Companies (mainly Aeronautical business). High documented experience in developing e maintaining quality standards (System/Product requirements), recognized by Third Party Certification Bodies and International Aeronautical Authorities. In addition starting from March 2021, Customer Interface for Quality on International Programs and Responsible for Company Supplier Qualification Process (assessment, FAI, product surveillance, auditing).

Fulvio Boscolo CEO di LMA s.r.l.

Fulvio Boscolo, together with his sister Cristina Boscolo, took over the running of LMA srl Aerospace Technology in 1996, founded in 1970 by his father Giuseppe Boscolo.
Currently, Fulvio Boscolo is the Chief Executive Officer of LMA srl, a company specialized in machining for the aerospace sector, with high-precision and highly critical machining, even on large-sized parts. Fulvio Boscolo took over the management of LMA, leading it to be a protagonist both in the European and overseas international arena, as Tier1 of the most renowned Big Players in the sector and then also making it obtain relevant certifications in the most prestigious supply chains, achieving objectives and rating of excellence.
Also by virtue of continuous reinvestments and a highly innovative structure of governance and processes, Dr. Boscolo has allowed LMA to offer highly integrated products and services, naturally in line with all the criteria of Sustainability, Business Ethics and Industry 4.0.
2022 has also laid the foundations for the start of a new phase of growth for the LMA. In fact, the acquisition of the company Plyform, national excellence in the field of composites, is particularly relevant and worthy of note.

Ivan Malandrino  | Auditing QMS in Leonardo Aerostructures.

Graduated in Electronic Engineer at the University of Study of Salerno with Master in Industrial Robotics. Since 2001 in Leonardo Company he began career in Quality Enginering Department to optimization production processes and after Head of Quality Control & tooling.

Since 2016 Auditor EN9100:2018 for Leonardo Aerostructures (level II audits) and member of task group in AIAD (Association of Italian Companies for Aerospace, Defence and Security) for Auditor Authentication Body (AAB).

In 2018 became a member of task group M&I (Measurement & Inspection) in Nadcap. Lead in Leonardo Aerostructures for Qualification Process for inspection under Nadcap surveillance.

Stefano Cittadini  | Quality Management System Manager AVIO S.p.A.

Graduated in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Rome “La Sapienza”.

Ten-year experience in Quality Assurance for a company in the aeronautical sector, gained in the application and maintenance of compliances with industry standards, regulations and laws.

From 2018 under AVIO S.p.A. in the Quality Management. From July 2021 responsible for the management of the company Quality System, certified according to AS/EN 9100:2018, with the task, among others, of designing and maintaining the QMS, guaranteeing its effectiveness and continuous improvement.

AUTOMOTIVE

Alessio Grasso | Aerospace & Defence Business Unit Manager del Gruppo Dallara.

Brigadier General (Reserve) of the Italian Air Force (ItAF) I served, as an Officer of the Italian Air Force, from 1988 to 2021 and currently carries out consultancy activities in the Aerospace and Defense sector, mainly carrying out from 2021 the position of Aerospace & Defense Business Unit Manager of the Dallara Group.
I left the Italian Air Force after finishing the command of the Territorial Technical Office of Naples and Milan of the National Directorate of Aeronautical Armaments and Airworthiness where, as Director, he dealt with procurement and government surveillance of companies who work for the Defense in the territory.

His most important positions include that of head of Industrial Participations for the JSF Program (F-35) and Military Attaché at the Italian Embassy of the United States in Washington where he was in charge of acquisitions for the Armed Forces and International Cooperation.

Daniele Tonti | Chief Strategy Officer OMA S.p.A.

After graduating with a Master’s Degree in Economics and Business Management from LUISS Guido Carli, Mr Tonti pursued his studies by completing an MBA in Aviation at LUISS Business School.

He then honed his skills within two leading Consulting Companies working in Corporate Finance teams, dealing with Strategic Planning, Business Development and Extraordinary Finance Operations (M&A).

Since 2018, he has been Chief Strategy Officer of the OMA Group for which he is in charge of Strategy and M&A. His mission is to identify and implement the evolutionary path that will enable the company to establish itself as a leader in the aeronautical integrated systems market.

In 2020, he was appointed as Managing Director for Start-Up and Innovation of Confindustria Umbria Giovani Imprenditori, and also became a Member of the Strategic Committee for SME and MidCap AIAD (the Association of Italian Companies for Aerospace, Defence and Security).
Since 2021, he has been President of Umbria Aerospace Cluster and a member for the Commission Expert Group on EU Space, Defence and Aeronautics industry (European Commission).

Ciro Di Gennaro | Supply Chain Industrial Manager MBDA S.p.A.

Graduated in ‘Management Engineering’ at the University of Naples Federico II, began his career in the railway sector as Project Controller, and then continued in the defence sector as Junior Consultant on both technical and management support activities.

Since 2004, he has gained almost twenty years of experience within the Supply Chain Management of MBDA S.p.A., Europe’s leading missile and defence technology company. His role as Electrical & Electronics category manager ranges from defining the category sourcing strategy to its consequent applicability in calls for tenders, defining either the supply risks (ethical, economic-financial, dependence, capability, performance), or the suitable improvement actions affecting the Quality Management System. Indeed, he is a renowned expert in QMS assessments with more than 100 suppliers (level II audits), certified on the requirements of UNI ENI ISO 9001:2015 ED en9100:2018.

In 2019, he obtained a master’s degree in Leadership development from the HEC Executive Master School PARIS, accredited by the French Conférence des Grandes Ecoles.

Ciancio Antonino | Plexus Management Systems srl Shareholder

Reference Partner of Plexus, a company that provides training courses on quality and consulting on Management Systems.
Plexus represents the Italian branch of the American multinational Plexus International and is the training company commissioned by IATF (International Automotive Task Force) and IAQG (International Aerospace Quality Group) to develop training courses for the qualification of third party auditors, in accordance with the Automotive and Aerospace certification schemes respectively.

Mr Ciancio is responsible for the Design & Development of the training courses on quality issues.
In fact, he is a Plexus Master Trainer for courses concerning the qualification/re-qualification of auditors of Certification Bodies, part one and two, operating within the Automotive (IATF 16949) and Aeronautics (UNI EN 9100 series standards) schemes and for courses on quality tools such as APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, Problem Solving.

His professional background is recognizable for having always been oriented towards innovation, product and internationalization.

In his past experiences he was one of the main players in the development of interactive media and digital TV in Italy.

He is also Lead Auditor for quality standards, health and safety of workers, information security and for aeronautical safety.
